Someone to talk to
We're here. Give us a call. We've been in your shoes and know exactly how you feel.
After Dad was diagnosed, we put everything on hold to take care of him. We struggled to find cultural appropriate care and decided we would do what we could to make this easier on other families.
We are a grassroots organization with an innovative approach to the care of people with dementia and their caregivers.
Caregivers need support too. We know what it's like and can provide you with the resources you need.
We provide our respite and library of products to your family at no charge. You may borrow or keep them.
We are a group of volunteers offering resources and support to Black families who are supporting a loved one with Dementia. Some of our volunteers are Nurses while others are available to answer questions and provide respite services for caregivers.
Maybe :-). This was one of Dad's favourite things. We have an assortment of assistive devices (e.g. puzzles, tablets, books) that we can provide to you and your family when we have them. Send us an email and we'll let you know what we have.
Caregivers...we see you and we salute you. We know you are working round the clock, sacrificing to take care of the people that took care of you. We've been there. Contact us if you just want to talk, need a shoulder to cry on or need someone to cover a shift for you.
